Vegan Sock / Fingering Yarn - Hand Dyed Bamboo Cotton - Choose Color & Skein Size - Bright Turquoise, Blue Semi Solids - Artisan 3 Ply Yarn
Hi, friends! These listings are the place to be when you need to order individual colors (as opposed to kits) for your projects!
~~ How to Buy ~~
- Select the color you would like from the menu.
- Select the size of skein you need.
- Select the number of skeins needed (If you don't see a high enough quantity, message me and we'll make it happen!)
- Please ensure you order enough yarn for your project as my dye lots tend to sell out quickly and I can't guarantee that re-ordering the same color a second time will render an exact match.
~~ Shipping & Turnaround Times ~~
- Shipping is ALWAYS free on US orders of $35 and up!
- Unless otherwise noted (and I will message you within a few hours if this applies) ALL orders ship within 3-5 business days.
~~ Fiber Details (**This listing is for the fingering/sock weight base.**) ~~
- Currently I offer about 35 colors, all streaky semi-solids and tonals, dyed on 2 bases (DK and fingering), both of which are a blend of 51% cotton and 49% bamboo rayon.
~ My DK weight base is roughly 490 yds per 8 oz with a gauge of 20 sts per 4" on US 7-9 (4.5-5.5 mm). This base is perfect for sweaters, hats, gloves, cold weather scarves, and ANYTHING for babies! It is extremely soft and offers a nice stretch.
- My fingering/sock weight base is approximately 990 yds per 8 oz with a gauge of 28 sts per 4" on US 1 (2.25 mm) This is the base for trendy, lightweight shawls, summer accessories, socks, and it even works well, I'm told, for embroidery! Less stretch than the DK base, but still very soft.
~~ Quality ~~
- All of my yarns are completely vegan, and dyed in my smoke-free, meticulously clean home, using professional grade fiber-reactive dyes. Colors are fixed with chemicals to provide long-lasting vibrancy and permanence.
~~ Caring for your Hand Dyed Fiber ~~
- The care instructions for my hand dyed yarns are quite simple. Hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. There might be a small amount of color bleed into the water on the first few washings but as long as you use cold water, the dye should not latch on to adjoining fibers, as it requires chemicals to do so.
