Please note, the total yardage for this kit is 530 yds (53 yds per skein). This is *not* enough yarn for a traditional baby blanket in most cases. However, ordering 2 kits would provide enough for most small baby blanket patterns and I always ensure matching dye lots for people who do this. If you need more or less of a specific color, or need to add on a neutral such as silver/gray for a larger project, please message me so I can assist you further. :)

2 packaging options available:

1) Yarn Braid (colors will be chain-linked together and tied into a loop . Simply cut the tie and they will come apart into un-twisted hanks. This option is $64.95
2) Individually-Labeled Skeins- This is the traditional way all of my mini skeins are packaged, with a label applied to each skein and my signature flower hole punch "window". This option is $69.95

All colors are streaky, pastel semi-solids and these are the only pastels currently available in my shop! Grab 'em while you can!

On 2/20/21, my beloved bulldog of nearly 11 years, Mo, suddenly passed away. He was my only "child" and the joy of my life! I'm still adjusting to life without him, and it's very surreal having the doors to the "yarn rooms" open now. I wanted to do something special to honor his life, while supporting the important work of Big Bones Canine Rescue, a 501(c)3 dog rescue in northern Colorado that is providing resources (food, medicine, etc), emergency and ongoing medical care, fostering, and adoption services to dogs in need all over this region.

These beautiful pastels are the perfect metaphor for life without my Mo. Life has lost a little bit of color, but I know it can still be beautiful. <3 All of my hand dyed yarns are semi-solids/ tonals, which means they contain beautiful streaks and color variation throughout. The darker colors tend to have more streaks than the lighter ones, but no two skeins are exactly alike! Because of this, it's very important to order enough of each individual color for your project...my dye lots tend to sell out very quickly! All of my plant-based yarns are dyed in my smoke-free, meticulously clean home, using professional grade fiber-reactive dyes. Colors are fixed with chemicals to provide long-lasting vibrancy and permanence. This bamboo/cotton blend is lightweight, and luxuriously soft. It’s perfect for any project for baby, or for soft winter wearables of any kind. It’s a little on the ‘fuzzy’ side and does shed a bit while being knit or crocheted, but it holds up well to washing and should not shrink if handled according to the care instructions above. I would caution against using very dark colors right next to very light colors in a project, as there could be some color bleed between light and dark, particularly if washing in warmer water. If colors are combined according to the gradient pictured above, though, you shouldn't have any issues... just use cold water! Thanks so much for visiting my shop! Make someones's day bright today!
